At their regular meeting on March 17, 2015 the North Ridgeville Board of Education approved a resolution authorizing a development agreement with the City of North Ridgeville. This development agreement solidifies the Center Ridge Road access from the new 3-8th grade school.
Under the agreement, access from the new 3-8th grade school to Center Ridge Road will be constructed at the northwest edge of the site. Previous plans showed the access to Center Ridge Road directly north on the site using District owned property.
The City of North Ridgeville will be in charge of engineering and constructing the access road. North Ridgeville City Schools will contribute $1.5 million money that was already allocated for the Center Ridge Road access, to the City of North Ridgeville for the construction of the road.
In addition, the City of North Ridgeville will design, engineer, and construct at their cost, a 12 inch water line that will run from Center Ridge Road to Bainbridge Road.
The complete resolution is attached. Images showing the detailed location of the Center Ridge Road access will be released at a later date.
The District is planning on holding an open meeting on March 26, 2015 to keep the community informed about the project and show current plans for the facilities.
