ThenDesign Architecture Selected as Architect Firm for New 3-8 School

ThenDesign Architecture (also known as TDA) has been selected by North Ridgeville City Schools and the OFCC as the architect to design the new 3-8 school. ThenDesign Architecture was one of three architect firms being considered for the design of the new school.

“We are delighted to have been selected as the Architect for the new elementary/middle school,” said Chris Smith Partner of ThenDesign Architecture. “We are even more excited to partner with the dedicated administrators, teachers, staff, students and community of North Ridgeville,” he added.

Based in Willoughby, Ohio, ThenDesign Architecture brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in regards to educational facility design. They have worked on 30 OFCC projects and have 61 years of experience designing PK-12 facilities. Their resume includes projects such as Wellington Middle School, Massillon Middle School and Lorain High School.

In addition, ThenDesign Architecture has the knowledge and capabilities to design athletic stadiums and facilities. Their experience includes stadium projects at Girard High School, Benedictine High School and Mayfield High School.

ThenDesign’s team members have been involved with collaboration and partnerships with community organizations. Their design focus is centered on relationships and creating a space with workable design solutions that meets the client’s needs and personality.

Initial meetings will be set up with the architect to negotiate the contract. After this is complete the planning and design phase of the project will begin. A complete list of projects can be found on their website
